About Us

Maderas Village, Nicaragua from Axios Clients on Vimeo.

An airy, sustainably-minded Surf Village nestled into a hillside jungle, overlooking Maderas beach. Guests describe The Maderas Village as an undiscovered boutique resort, a summer camp for adults, or a retirement community for young people.

Guests are welcomed to stay for a few days, a couple of weeks, a few months, or as long as they would like to escape for. Between the Main House & Restaurant (The Maderas House), the three Cottages, and the three Private Cabanas a unique experience and great stay is always assured. Using the Village as a paradise setting to write, study, or work from is fully encouraged – we are not just a place to visit, we’re a place to live.

Meals at The Maderas Village are enjoyed family-style at one of our communal tables. Our open-air dining room is known for hosting memorable meals, unparalleled views of the Pacific, stunning sunsets – and the occasional howler monkey.

The Maderas Village is a short walk from Maderas beach and a 20 minute shuttle from San Juan del Sur. We are happy to help make transportation arrangements to get people to San Juan del Sur, Rivas, San Jorge, Grenada, or Managua.
